The encounter of two forces is always a crucial moment in any phenomenon. Whether it's generated by elements that come together to form a new molecule or by energies that add up to create movement. The essence of everything is <transformation>, the emergence of something new that does not completely resemble any of its individual components, but neither completely differs from all of them.
It is within <synergistic interactions> like these that we can understand the music of #/X-Vandals/, a composition that is absolutely new in every little aspect of its proposals, but carries within itself unmistakable parts of the creativity of each of its members. The paths of [Davis] and [Martinelli] met inside the particle and body accelerator that is the <dance floor> and there they developed the sound that propels their joint efforts in this project.
It can be many things for all kinds of audiences: forceful or engaging, warm or impactful, provocative or inviting... what matters, in the end, is that its primary purpose is achieved and that it makes every listener that reaches a dancing being who thinks.

The duo's first EP, entitled HACK THE FUNK , has 4 tracks in different moods, but that talk to each other.

EDIBLE AMNESIA, plays with the senses in a kinesthetic way. The first impressions trace a plan where the character, newly awakened, tries to put ideas into orbit, but the construction of the techno drums requires a certain urgency to act. The interactions between synths and pads, wander through EBM and electro and refer to attempts to access erased memories, which become more and more intense throughout the track.

X-VANDALS, homonymous track to the project, is initially found in the IDM and ambient spectra, converging in irregular beats and with greater power. Subtly acidic bass lines add movement, along with pads that complement texture, sounding like a spaced-out electro.

Also in the spatial context, in GLOOMY WALKERS, deep and disoriented elements that flirt between electro and techno are evident. The question and answer between synths, pads, bass lines and denser drums guarantee the idea of ​​landing and walking through gloomy places.

Finally, the eponymous track to the EP, HACK THE FUNK, brings together elements of classic 808 drums, as well as vocal and drum cuts from Brazilian funk, intending to hack it.
